My hope is to honor the people and animals of this unique time, who are living these complex, heartbreaking, exciting, and beautiful lives. My works are my prayers that seek to remind us of what is most precious and that we are in this together (nos sumus in hoc unum).

Carolyn Robles is a Tucson-based portrait and figurative painter whose work astonishes with subtle meanings and compassionate understanding of the subject of her work.  Carolyn’s work can be found in collections all over the United States, as well as Belgium, France, Spain, Germany, Senegal, Japan, Australia, and Canada. She is a grand prize winner of the Pastel Journal’s Pastel 100 and featured in Pure Pastel: Contemporary Works by Today’s Top Artists. She also teaches at The Drawing Studio.
