NEW Exhibit: Maynard Dixon & Navajo Blankets
This dual exhibit, from two very different collections, will present an artistic history of Arizona and promises to be an exceptional overall experience for visitors. The exhibit will open with a gala reception on Friday, October 17th, 5-7pm. Tickets for the gala are $25 and may be purchased by contacting the art center at 520-398-2371. “Mapping Insight” Art Exhibit Opens Sept. 5, 2014
“Mapping Insight” is an exhibit by Seattle artist, Eric Carson . Eric uses the ancient geometric structure of the mandala to locate seemingly opposed traditions of insight around their common center, thus creating contemporary maps of insight. Click here for more information.
“Art Starts: Creatively Thinking and the Arts”
On Saturdays from September through April, Tubac Center of the Arts will provide local area youth and families an opportunity to learn and to create artworks relating to its exhibitions. Each Saturday will be led by a different artist/educator. Click here for more information.
