Bees and Wax features pieces by artists across the United States that includes work about bees or uses wax in the art’s construction (encaustic, for example). Juried by Tucson artist Sherrie Posternak, a percentage of each sale will go to benefit charities supporting the survival of bees.

Mark your calendars for a special concert event with Mulligan and McGuire! Mark Mulligan deported himself to Mexico 24 years ago, ditching his gold Century 21 Real Estate jacket for flip flops and a guitar. 13 albums and 4 kids later, he calls the Sea of Cortez home, living south of the border in beautiful San Carlos, Sonora.

Men on Boats


Ten explorers. Four boats. One Grand Canyon. Men On Boats is the true(ish) history of an 1869 expedition, when a one-armed captain and a crew of insane yet loyal volunteers set out to chart the course of the Colorado River.

A presentation of artfully created Tablescapes including dinnerware, flatware and stemware to inspire turning the ordinary into the extraordinary for holiday entertaining.  Attendees will have the delight of viewing these show stopping tables to discover the inspiration to create the perfect holiday settings.

The Tubac Center of the Arts, is located at the main intersection in the village, and offers a full range of arts programming and seasonal exhibits that are not to be missed.

Tubac Center of the Arts offers changing nationally juried art exhibitions, opportunities for artists to exhibit their work, art workshops, lectures, a performing arts series, special events, and a children’s summer arts program.
