Time to discover the sheer joy of making abstract art!
Through this four-week course, you will practice letting go of expectations and creating with the abandon and joy of a child. With an attitude of “WHAT IF,” we will use acrylic paint and markers on large sheets of mixed media and yupo papers. Hours: 9 AM – 12 PM

As a native Texan and an Arizona resident for 38 years, my sensibilities are grounded in the American Southwest. A former graphic designer, I worked over the years in watercolor, pastel, acrylic, oil and now, most often, mixed media. Working large and abstractly is my chosen path for refracting the world through my own lens. I am also on the board of the Sonoran Plein Air Painters group which promotes drawing and painting from life, another joy.
