Telling Your Art Story – Marketing For Artists

Does the thought of marketing your art terrify and confuse you? Do you have trouble entering exhibitions online and sizing your photographs? Do you need a website? What about social media? Why do people buy art?

Through a series of questions, exercises, discussions, and presentations, you’ll discover your personal art journey, learn why you make art, what your art is about, who your art buying audience is and how to tell your art story to connect buyers with your art. This workshop will be especially helpful for those artists planning to participate in the Open Studio Tour.

Marketing tactics and specific strategies are dependent upon where you are in your art journey and your goals as an artist. We’ll discuss the steps for every part of the journey with takeaways and next steps for marketing your art and connecting with buyers.
