Arizona Aqueous XXXIII

Entry Fee: $36.00 + $5 for each media over the minimum

Arizona Aqueous is an annual juried exhibit of artworks created with water media on paper. This year's juror, Svitlana Malyukova has won several awards for her scanography including the 2016 Juror’s Selection Award at the New York Center for Photographic Art Her work has recently been seen locally at Borderlands Gallery and Raices Teller Gallery in Tucson.

2020 Members's Open: August 14 - September 27, 2020 

The Tubac Center of the Arts Members' Open is the first exhibition of the 2020-2021 season featuring the outstanding artwork of a varied member/artist community. TCA Member invitational passcode: TCA-MO-2020.

Raise Your Voice: October 2 - November 15, 2020

"Raise Your Voice" celebrates the one hundred year anniversary of the 19th amendment and women's right to vote. The goal of the exhibition is to use history as well as current issues related to women's right through contemporary artwork to inspire viewers to think critically about the right to vote and to encourage participation in our democracy.

The exhibit will run concurrently with the Smithsonian Museum on Main Street's "Voices and Votes - Democracy in America" in partnership with Arizona Humanities.

“The Second Annual Plein Air on the Santa Cruz”

Tubac’s Third Annual Plein Air Retreat and Workshop for Artists includes an exhibition and sale. A collaboration between Tubac Center of the Arts and the historic Rancho Santa Cruz. Stay tuned for more information coming soon.

The annual Members' Juried Exhibit is an exhibit for artist members of Tubac Center of the Arts.

Arizona Aqueous XXXV: January 15 - February 21, 2021

Tubac’s 35th Annual Arizona Aqueous exhibit is an annual favorite. This national juried exhibit presents artwork that is created using water based pigments on paper.

2021 Artists Open Studio Tour & Exhibit: February 26 - April 4, 2021

Santa Cruz Valley Artists Open Studio Tour includes an exhibition, a poster contest, and a Studio Tour for Artists residing in Southern Arizona along the I-19 corridor between Sahuarita and Nogales. The 2021 Open Studio Tour will take place March 12, 13, & 14, 2020 from 10:00 am-4pm.

Artist studios must be located between Sahuarita, Arizona and Nogales, Arizona, along the I-19 corridor.

Exhibit dates: February 26 - April 4, 2021.

Impressions: The Art of the Print: February 26 - April 4, 2021

This statewide juried exhibit will present the many different types of printmaking methods, including monotype, etchings, drypoint, lithography, woodcut, linocut, collograph, and screen print. Juror: David Andres, curator of the Bernal Gallery and Printmaking Program and Gallery Museum Studies instructor at Pima Community College.

2021 Hi-Art: April 9 - 25, 2021

2021 Hi-Art Exhibit - Applications for the 2020 Hi-Art exhibit will open on Friday, February 14th. The exhibit is open to the Santa Cruz Valley local high school students attending, Rio Rico, Nogales, Lourdes, Patagonia, Global Community Alliance, Walden Grove, and Sahuarita Rita High Schools.

Tubac Dark Skies: April 30 - May 23, 2021

This national juried exhibit will present works of art that celebrate the dark sky initiatives and the Tubac Dark Sky application. This exhibit partners with the Tubac Presidio Park and the Tubac Heritage Alliance to create supporting Dark Sky events in Tubac.
