Impressions: The Art of the Print

This juried exhibit will present the many different types of printmaking methods, including monotype, etchings, drypoint, lithography, woodcut, linocut, collagraph, and screen-print. Additionally, educational material describing the different types of printmaking will help visitors understand the methods and techniques. The exhibit highlights original printmaking methods and addresses the difference between the art form of printmaking versus the reproduction of art called a “print.” Juror: David Andres

Beth has been experimenting with the newly emerging medium of “Masking Tape Art” for over a decade, creating murals, abstract landscapes, still lifes and icons from tape which sh hand-paints in bold primary and secondary colors. Life in the Mountain West

IMPRINT – Lauren Steinert

Imprint is an exhibition of artwork by Lauren Steinert in which printmaking presents the marks and history from the communal printmaking lab at the University of Arizona.
