Painting the light in Watercolor with Vladislav Yeliseyev – cancelled
January 24 @ 9:00 am - January 26 @ 4:00 pm$500.
What is required to quit tight illustrative coloring and start painting like a pro?
Students are going to learn how to mix and apply watercolors without fear of being inaccurate. Vlad will show you the shortcuts to the path when every brushstroke applied is significant in its impact on the viewer. He will show you the importance of one detail above the other and therefore how to be selective in your painting process. Every painting is like a poetry, the less words wasted the more powerful message it conveys. On the technical side of things you will learn how to approach urban scenery and what are the major steps involved in achieving artistic results including composition, focal point and light distribution.

What people are saying about Vladislav’s workshops:
“What a workshop!!! I was so impressed by Vlad. What a wonderful teacher. I told my husband when I got home that I was so happy because at long last I could almost feel the pieces starting to come together. The drawing lessons were just right on target for me and the way he showed us how to actually do his technique to get a much longed for effect at the end of our very own brushes….well – what can I say. And the color!I am so thankful.” – Janet K
