"It seems like only yesterday, the halls were filled with exuberant, young SummerArts students, and then… poof, like magic the walls were painted, the gift shop was full, over 120 paintings were hung, and we were ready for our September 1st opening..."

That “magic” could not happen without the help of our wonderful volunteers.

Volunteers

Our volunteers are an integral component for the smooth running of all the activities you’ll find throughout a season at TCA.  Our season opens with a volunteer breakfast and preview of the upcoming year, and then the fun begins.  We can always use help in the office, with Gift Shop sales, as a Gallery Host, with mailings and more. 

The Center is staffed by two full-time and two part-time employees who work with an active corps of over 200 volunteers, and the new season is upon us already! If you have some spare time and would like to help create the magic, below are areas where we can always use a helping hand:

  • Bring refreshments for events
  • Pack, unpack and ship artwork
  • Sell in the Gift Shop
  • Bulk mailings
  • Paint gallery walls
  • Stamp envelopes
  • Exhibit check-in and check-out
  • Parking lot attendant for Festival of the Arts
  • Arrange displays
  • Gift shop inventory
  • Host in galleries
