LILIA ! A one-woman play written and performed by Libby Skala. The indomitable Lilia Skala comes to life in her grand-daughter’s deeply personal celebration of a life in the theatre. Buoyed by a resolute faith, the Austrian stage actress flees the Third Reich and finds herself laboring in a NY zipper factory before working her way back to Broadway and the silver screen, eventually to collect Oscar, Emmy and Golden Globe award nominations. Hi-Art

Tubac Center of the Arts is pleased to present the annual high school exhibit, “Hi-Art” with an opening reception on Friday, April 14th, 5-7pm. The exhibit supports students in the Santa Cruz Valley high schools from Sahuarita to Nogales. The scholarship, awards and exhibit are generously sponsored by “Cowboy Christmas,” an annual fundraising event held each December by Rogoway Turquoise Tortoise Gallery and Tubac Territory Gallery. The exhibit continues through Sunday, April 30, 2017.
