My Life & Work in Art, Theatre, and Design – Albert Tucci
November 1 @ 5:00 pm
Renowned costume and scenic designer, artist, and educator Al Tucci will discuss his life and work in art, theatre and design. From his beginnings at the Art Institute of Chicago to costume and production for professional companies across the United States, Mr. Tucci will also discuss his craft in making exotic, vivid and colorful pieces of unforgettable, exuberant energy. “After nearly forty years, the process I use as an artist creating individual pieces of a theatrical nature is almost the same thing as theatre production. The idea, the image, almost always tied to a movement or strong rhythm is essential to what I do.”
