A Place to Begin Your Visit to Tubac
Why is Tubac known as the place “where Art and History meet?” To find out, your visit to Tubac must include the Tubac Center of the Arts – preferably as the first stop. You will see highly acclaimed art both from artists in the Santa Cruz Valley as well as artists throughout the U.S. Check the Exhibit Schedule to view the featured exhibitions on display. You will marvel at the exclusive Master Artist Gallery as you view works by the artists that made Tubac famous and learn what brought them to Tubac. The Tubac Center of the Arts is the center of the art scene in Tubac – it is the long-standing heart of the artist community here.
After viewing our outstanding art exhibitions, you will want to shop at our Gift Shop Gallery filled with jewelry, pottery, books, cards, and prints. Admission to the galleries is free thanks to the support of artists and other members plus our many volunteers.
If you are spending the evening in Tubac, check to see if there is an Event that coincides with your trip. Have you been to Tubac Center of the Arts on a previous visit to Tubac? If so, be sure to come again on this visit because our exhibitions are constantly changing and so is the merchandise in our gift shop. Any visitors who may need special accommodations to enjoy our galleries, events or educational programs, please contact the Center’s office at 520-398-2371.

“This is the first year Open Studios is expanding to Nogales, and the first time the full-color catalog will be published in an English and Spanish bilingual edition. This will help more Spanish-speaking residents take part and visit artists’ studios. It also gives artists in Nogales a chance to share their talent in the March 17-19 event.” (GVNews)
